Cape Cod Remodel 

We received a call from a customer who purchased a typical 1940's Cape Cod home with good bones in a desirable neighborhood with excellent schools and great community appeal.  However, the floor plan was dated and amenities did not function for the needs of the family.  After visiting their site and receiving a good understanding of their budget and needs we designed an addition to transform the older house into a new home that provided everything on their wish list.  The lot allowed us to expand to both the rear and side enabling us to create a much larger kitchen and dining area, covered porch and spacious Hearth Room; giving the family the open modern floor plan they desired.  A completely new second floor was designed offering 4 bedrooms including a wonderful Master Suite with all the luxuries to pamper the homeowner, and an abundance of closets and storage.  One of the best and most appreciated features was moving the Laundry Room from the basement to the second floor, providing a warm space and step-saving convenience.  The home now represents the lifestyle of today's busy family while able to remain in the neighborhood they love.
